When you hire a Master Electrician, your residential electrical work is automatically covered by a $20,000 Workmanship Guarantee. This means that if any workmanship-related issues arise within 12 months of completion, they can be investigated and rectified at no extra cost. The guarantee covers:

• Work done by the original contractor.
• Labour costs and replacement materials (up to $20,000 including GST).
• Residential electrical work only.
• Any necessary remediation, completed by either the original contractor or another Master Electrician, as determined by Master Electricians New Zealand.

If you ever have concerns about the workmanship of a job, follow these steps:

• Contact me first – I stand by my work and will do everything I can to resolve the issue.
• If needed, escalate to Master Electricians – If we’re unable to reach a resolution, you can submit a claim to Master Electricians New Zealand with your invoice details.
• Investigation and resolution – The Master Electricians Guarantee Committee will review your case and arrange for the necessary work to be completed, up to the $20,000 guarantee limit.
